Project Description

An international investment bank specializing in acquiring debt sought to acquire timberlands and required an independent expert (one not seeking to place funds) to determine whether timber was an attractive asset class worth owning. Additionally, the firm required assistance in analyzing the attractiveness of two transactions they were pursuing.
We were engaged to draft a timber primer that explored timber investment opportunities, challenges and risk and debt characteristics including general performance. We also completed initial due diligence associated with the two properties that the firm was exploring.
